Several years ago, before fitness became a big business, the pursuit of health was not so confusing. But now, with everyone swearing by their special programs, it is not so easy. One person tells you about a great new diet, while another quotes the latest video. And still another drags you to a health club that promises immediate results with magical new technology.

Unfortunately, however, these programs often place you into their plan without paying much attention to your needs and desires. Their solution might even work for a while; until you get bored, dissatisfied or injured. Personalized fitness training gives you an alternative to this mass-market approach to fitness. I will provide you with a physiologically and scientifically sound program that is specifically tailored to your needs, not just as they are now, but as they develop.

Your program will be a comprehensive lifestyle plan, and will include instruction in resistance training, flexibility, nutrition, and cardiovascular conditioning. You will learn proper technique and the reasons why each exercise is important. Rather than a flurry of mindless activity that gets you little more than sweaty, you will build a program that provides the maximum return for the goals you set for yourself.

D.A.M. Good Bodies will give you results that go further than the cosmetic. You will get the flow that comes from increased energy and a heightened state of health. You will obtain the proper ratio of body fat to lean muscle tissue (15%-18% for men,18%-22% for

women) which is a key measurement of health. You will also become agile and adept in the sports you choose. And, as you become more cardiovascularly fit, you will reduce your chance of heart disease. In addition, you will be much better equipped to manage the stress in your life.

Together, we will work as a team, giving 100% of our energy. Throughout your workouts be as open as you can; tell me how you feel and ask whatever questions you have. This is your personal training program and can only work if you are actively involved. Your cooperation, enthusiasm and commitment will help you reach the goals we set together.

To become fit, you should schedule at least two training sessions with me per week. You should also do two to four workouts a week on your own. We will map these workouts together, so that you feel comfortable completing them on your own. After four to six weeks, you should start to see results.

To sharpen the edge you get from efficient training, we will also periodically reevaluate your program. This constant supervision and adjustment is an essential feature of responsible fitness training.
